Product Description
There are actually three different motors in your air conditioning unit: condenser fan motor, blower motor, and compressor motor. The condenser fan motor powers the fan blade forcing air out of the condenser, pulling air out of the cabinet, transferring heat form the compressor and condenser coil. It helps keep the compressor from overheating. This part cools the refrigerant that moved through the condensing coils in your outside unit. The blower motor is located in the air handler. The compressor motor is located in the outdoor unit. Tingertech offers various Air-Conditioner Fan Motors for a variety of popular models of equipment.
Fan motor structure is very simple in construction. Our ac fan motors consist of a stator and contain a rotating rotor inside, which is surrounded by pole-pieces. The fan motor types and sizes are very different and differentiate heavily among themselves.
All our fan motor complies with the appropriate International Standards as far as:
In general our ac fan motor can operate in ambients from -30°C to +50°C at altitudes up to 1000 metres above sea level. Fan motors to operate outside this range can be supplied if required.
The minimum is IP44 in accordance with the appropriate standards. IP54 even IP55 enclosure can be supplied for fully weatherproof applications.
Standard finish is enamel paint top coat on suitable primer to give good appearance and protection for general usage. Also aluminum housing with lower temperature rise is available .
Unless otherwise nominated, all our fan motors are fitted with ball bearings. The bearing housing of fan motor up to frame size D140 as a minimum, are fully enclosed, sealed-for-life and therefore do not require maintenance. Bearings are pre-packed with grease and, under normal circumstances, last for several years.
Motors are generally wound for 110-115V/60Hz or 208-240V/50Hz one phase fan motor, however, we can provide fan motor wound for all voltage and frequency variations.
Insulation to Class B with Class B temperature rise is used throughout, allowing for operation in ambients up to +40°C. Fan motor for higher temperatures can be provided upon request, like Class F.
Many applications require the maximum design conditions for only relatively short time periods, resulting in a waste of energy and consequently, a high running cost. To overcome this, Tingertech can be supplied with 1 speed fan motor, 2 speed fan motor, 3 speed fan motor...A wide range of fan motor speed combinations can be provided, based upon the fan motor synchronous speeds. By this method, power savings can be substantial, as well as generating much lower noise levels.
Thermal protection in the form of thermistors are all incorporated in any of our fan motors. Thermistor overloads must be used in conjunction with these fan motors.
When continuous operation in higher ambients is essential, the fan motor can be wound with Class H insulation. The maximum continuous ambient temperature for Class H insulation is 80ºC. The maximum ambient temperature depends upon the load being applied to the motor and the temperature rise of the motor.
There are Condenser Fan AC Motors, PSC Condenser Fan AC Motors, 3-Phase Condenser Fan AC Motors and 3-Phase Inverter Duty Condenser Fan AC Motors available. Our main condensor fan motor are Condenser Fan AC Motors and PSC Condenser Fan AC Motors.
Condenser fan AC motors power fan blades in air conditioning condensing units that cool refrigerant in unit condensing coils and heat pumps. They are often used to replace damaged condenser fan motors in refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
Permanent split capacitor (PSC) condenser fan AC motors run with a required capacitor that reduces the amount of power consumed for a given load, making them more energy efficient than shaded pole motors. They have high starting torque and energy saving performance and low operating temperature.
